Saturday Corinth 10 a.m. – Firecracker 5K race in Pagenstecher Park on Palmer Avenue. Participants must pre-register; cost is $10. A one-mile fun run for kids is also taking place, free of charge. 2 p.m. – Corinth Parade steps off from Palmer Avenue and Fifth Street. It proceeds to Main and River streets. 3 p.m. – Junior Class duck race at the beach. 3 to 9 p.m. – Saratoga County Fair Art Exhibit and face painting by Sher. 3:30 p.m. – Ballston Spa Community band performance at the beach. 5 p.m. – Kenny T and the Backroads Band will play and a balloon artist will perform. 7 p.m. – Mohawk Valley exhibition squad (waterskiing) show at the beach. 9 p.m. – Fireworks from the Irving Densmore Memorial Bridge. Hudson Falls 6 to 10 p.m. – BeatlesFest at Derby Park, sponsored by Hudson Falls Police Benevolent Association. Indian Lake 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Kids Fishing Derby at Byron Park, Indian Lake. The Indian Lake/Blue Mountain Lake Fish & Game Association will sponsor a free fishing derby for kids 15 and younger. Adult supervision is required. Prizes will be provided, as will free hot dogs, hamburgers and soda. Fishing poles will be available and instruction provided. 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – A bazaar and bake sale at United Methodist Church, East Main Street, features homemade crafts, flea market and homemade baked goods. 4 p.m. – The Indian Lake Volunteer Fire Department and auxiliary will offer a chicken barbecue at the Fire Hall. Salem 6 p.m. – Salem Fireman ’s Carnival (Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Saratoga Springs 10 a.m. to noon – Patriotic Picnic, Independence Day celebration with a tea party and a march to Congress Park for crafts and a snack at the Children’s Museum at Saratoga, 69 Caroline St., Saratoga Springs. 2 p.m. – Historic City Tour: North Broadway. Hollis Palmer provides a free guided walking tour of the historic North Broadway neighborhood of Saratoga Springs. Meet at Crafter’s Gallery, 427 Broadway. Sunday Glens Falls 4:30 p.m. – Gates open for the 24th annual Summer Jam at East Field. Tickets are $3 and are available at WCKM studios, 128 Glen St., or the day of the event at East Field. 6:45 p.m.
