Lois M. Ingham, 83, of Marshalltown, IA passed away, Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Mary Greeley Medical Center, in Ames, IA. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2011, at Pursel Davis Funeral and Cremation Care in Marshalltown. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Lois was born December 17, 1927 to Leon and Evelyn Gossman in LeGrand, IA. Her mother died when she was a toddler. She was raised also by her step mother, Rosa. Lois was raised in the LeGrand and Quarry, IA areas. She graduated from LeGrand High School in 1945. Lois was united in marriage to Carman Ingham on August 6, 1949 in Ft. Dodge, IA. He died February 27, 2000. She was a homemaker. Lois enjoyed reading, board games, cross word puzzles, and scrap booking.
Lois will be missed by her three children; Lynn (David) Wilder of Marshalltown, Mark (Kathryn) Ingham of Grinnell, IA, Ward (Marilyn) Ingham of Gladbrook, IA, eleven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a twin brother, Lance Oakes.
