As long as I can remember, I had use of one nostril. It was almost impossible to tell from the outside. My best friend growing up was always the point and say, "you have a hooked nose" (it is also an artist that the views of all). I assumed it was genetic. My father could not join the merchant navy until he had his septum fixed and back, then they would just delete it. I also had a few incidents in my past as a soccer ball on the face, a Moluccan cockatoo who chomped down on my nose in a zoo I work as a teenager, and a former boyfriend who beat me pretty bad.So maybe it was a nasty combination of all the above?
