Question of the Day: Downloads or Vinyl?

With sales in decline due to the rise of the online music industry, Soundtracks music store closed its doors Thursday after 26 years in Huntingon.

Do you prefer downloading music online or would you rather buy an album or CD at a music store? 

Jon Bon Jovi recently criticized Apple CEO Steve Jobs for killing the music industry with iTunes. 

"Kids today have missed the whole experience of putting the headphones on, turning it up to 10, holding the jacket, closing their eyes and getting lost in an album," said Bon Jovi to the Sunday Times Magazine recently.

What are your thoughts? Are kids missing out on the excitement of buying albums these days or do you think new methods of purchasing music online is better?

Being an Independent Artist, this really disturbs me, she was young, but it let me know where they the youth of today heads are in their mental thinking when it comes to the art form of music. It should be Free, and if we let it continue this way myself whom make my livelihood through music, will really have a ruff time surviving as well the industry as a whole, which seems to be in almost every article online. Music 696 | Buy Music Online

I somehow mucked up my CD-R when it was in my DVD-RW drive. I can’t explain what the heck I did, but I was trying to add an ISO or something. Anyway, let’s not focus on that now since it’s not a problem.

The drive insists that the CD has 696 of 702 MB free. Correct me if I’m wrong, but closed CD-Rs have no free space. Am I not correct in this assumption?

So how can SOME of the space be used but the rest of the CD is still open? Also, how can I fix this so I can add music to the CD?

Let me know if you need more info and I’ll be willing to provide anything I can.
